This past weekend we were once again at the house working. We had a new dumpster delivered and shocking to say it's almost full after one day. Mom, Dad, Mary, Jimmy, Geo and I worked from about 11am til 5pm. We started tearing down the ceilings and removing what insulation that house had. Dad finished tearing down the wall in the kitchen. He also began removing what was left of the existing furnace.
This upcoming weekend we plan on being back at the house with a goal of finishing the ceilings in the other two rooms, removing the plasterboard from the upper living/kitchen area, tearing down the walls in the kitchen and begin tearing up the kitchen floor. The floor needs to be replaced not to mention we need an easier access to the crawlspace so we can remove the heating ducts. Sounds fun right!?!?!
Here's some photos of the progress we made last weekend. I fear that we are running out of big demo projects and what will be left over are the small details...which kills seeing how it's hard to work a day and look up and ask yourself what you did all day.
